Welcome Back to School!

I hope you have enjoyed your summer and are ready for the new school year.

This year, you will be working with a team of teachers.  I will be your Homeroom, Math, and Science teacher. Mrs. Wiles-Stasko will be your ELA and Social Studies teacher. We are lucky to have Mrs. Sanders will be working with our team, she also teaches Reading. Mrs. Sordillo and Mrs. Castanga will be joining our team helping out as well!

We may not be using this blog as we would typically during school.  It is where homework is posted nightly, as well as pictures and useful resources that we use in the classroom.  We will be utilizing our Google Site to access our daily classwork.  I will show off some of your hard work and exciting things we do on this blog.

On the right side there is a place for your parents to enter their email and they will get updates when new posts are added.

We have a lot of fun activities planned for this year.  I am very much looking forward to this school year to begin.

Homeroom Hello Meeting

Zoom Meeting #1: Homeroom Hello was a Success!

I took a picture of our "meeting" below.

It was so nice to see 'almost' everyone! We decided to do it again at 10:00 on Wednesday. A bit crazy to hear everyone.  Maybe on Wednesday after all of our Hellos- we can go around and have everyone share one or two things they have enjoyed or done the past week.  That way we can hear from everyone.  It was a bit hard to hear everyone and keep up with what everyone was doing- since so many of you logged on.  I loved it though.  It was so nice to see your faces :)

If there are any questions, please let me know!

Animals in 3-D

I'm obsessed with this!
Here is a little fun trick to help the time go by...
If you go to Google and type in an animal, there is an option to see it 3D in your room!
I think you can only do it with a phone- but I'm not sure.  I saw this online last night and had to try it.
Be sure to comment below if you tried it!!

I've included a padlet below my pictures as well- if you are able to do it, screen shot it and post it.

Bread and Roses, Too is IN! YAY

I just posted a new video in the ELA Google Classroom.  However, I was only able to get through half a chapter- I decided to read while Dylan was napping, but Logan was having technical difficulties with his "ipad" aka LeapPad.
I will finish the chapter when he goes to bed tonight!
